Why Attend
As we head to Chicago in 2025, the USAging Answers on Aging Annual Conference and Tradeshow has become the country’s largest gathering of local leaders in aging well at home, attracting more than 1,400 Area Agencies on Aging; tribal aging programs and other federal, state and local leaders in aging; home and community-based services; and caregiving from across the nation.
This is a must-attend conference for anyone working in the Aging Network or wanting to learn more about the services and supports that help older adults thrive in their communities. Here are the best reasons to attend #USAging25!
Get new insights and ideas
The USAging Conference has a rich history of providing tremendous opportunities to spur innovation; learn about best and promising practices; network and learn from colleagues; and gain insight into federal policy and national trends that affect older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers. This year, we will offer even more opportunities to share new ideas and proven successes that will continue to move the Aging Network forward!
Conference attendees will come away with tools they can use to better serve older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers in their communities. Speakers will address everything from social isolation, healthy aging and health care contracting to supporting caregivers, workforce challenges and DEI. See the full list of focus areas.
Boost your network and build strong, meaningful relationships
This year’s Conference offers multiple opportunities to meet and network with AAA and Title VI program leaders from around the country; policymakers; and leaders from the federal government, health care and more! There will be multiple networking receptions, meals and breaks that are open to all occurring on the Tradeshow day. Additionally, there are specific invitation-only events for new directors, state directors, Leadership Institute participants and more throughout the Conference week.
Don’t forget to download the #USAging25 mobile app! Our new, elevated app allows you to create a customized schedule (including events or meetings not on the formal agenda), post on the activity feed, connect with other attendees and stay in touch with exhibitors whose products or services in which you are interested.
Stay abreast of Aging Network trends
The more than 100 sessions held during the four-day Conference offer a variety of ways to learn about and discuss new and emerging strategies and innovative approaches in service delivery, hot topics, current issues in aging, replicable programs, new opportunities for procuring sustainable funding streams and more.
Explore new business solutions
Attendees will have a wide variety of opportunities to connect with sponsors and exhibitors to learn about a range of services and products that can support older adults, caregivers and people with disabilities in your communities. The Tradeshow will feature more than 150 exhibitors, but this year’s Conference will also offer the popular Technology Lab as well as the new addition of a Caregiver Community Expo!
Celebrate USAging’s 50th Anniversary
We are celebrating 50 years! The first Answers on Aging Conference was a gathering of a few hundred Aging Network professionals held in 1975 at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC. This year, we anticipate more than 1,400 attendees as we observe our 50th Anniversary and the history of AAAs in special ways throughout the Conference.
